Committee made mistakes w/ field-selection and seeding, but assumption it would devise potential round-of-32 coaching matchups to draw media interest is absurd.
Well, they did it to us in both the men’s and women’s in the first round, so why not assume they’d at least take a chance for the second round?

Yeah, I agree. The idea that the committee isn't trying to setup story lines seems unlikely. All these matchups seem too frequent to be a coincidence.

I'm glad we were able to beat a team that was often ranked this year and 2-0 against Arizona to make Sweet 16 instead of two local teams.

I like those two teams, but it's just not what you think of with the NCAA tournament, playing your next door neighbors two rounds in a row.

Agree it was nice to get the road we got in 16 when we got 2 double digits seeds in our road to sweet 16 but didn't get respect we deserved in getting there that way.

Jamie basically said once the seedings are done, they are given to a computer which tries to sort them according to where the first round games are. They aren’t done to draw media interest.

The Clemson D-Bag is still at it. I'm usually not a Baylor fan, but I hope they just completely crush Clemson.

So I watch Texas lose to Tennessee and now Oregon battling Creighton, think back to TJ versus Jackrabbits, and wonder if they purposefully devised brackets so coaches play their old teams?

And thank you again, Dana Altman!
It’s always been a thing. Imagine a room full of 50 and 60 year old guys trying to figure out what “people” want to watch on tv.

Without going through all the conversations I just have to add I just now realized the evil committee also has Oregon vs creighton

They claim they don't, but man these types of 'stories' seem to happen way too often to be purely random
