Suck it haters

Honestly if you look back at even what those on the optimistic side of things were saying back then, even they'd be 'haters' compared to actual results.

People (including insiders) were talking about it taking a few years to rebuild after 2-22. Meanwhile we've been in the tournament all 3 years and in the sweet 16 twice, with a team that has the ability to win it all in year 3.

Its simply astounding.

Oh for sure, I like Otz but I thought it’d be a multi year rebuild with how low things were. TJ can recruit like no other, but that was still a tough sell.

Two S16s in the first 3 years? 3 straight tourney berths? Absolutely phenomenal.

I was disappointed at first but think I got on board pretty quick. Can you search posts in a thread? What TJ has done the last 3 years has been incredible.

Hey dude…come back! you’ve missed a lot the last 3 seasons!
Interesting people that have time to dig up three year old threads. Yeah I was wrong so? You think I would still defend this position or something? It felt like we needed new blood in the program at the time to get it going in a new direction.

Certainly appears to have been a fantastic hire. TJ appears to be in an position he loves, the players WANT to play for him, and the successes have been nothing short of amazing. Seems to "get" the contemporary player, NIL, and the portal. Impressive.

Coach for life? Maybe. But I suppose there may be a time, like with CMC a year ago, that some folks, rightly or wrongly, will consider the rot to be setting in because fans are fans.
