Who knows if this is true but I wouldn't doubt it at all. If true, USC covered **** up for OJ back in his student days. Shapiro & Kardashian didn't want that past information getting out during the trial it appears:

"I've been waiting 29 years to tell this story about OJ and his days at USC. Now that he's dead (may he burn in hell) I have a story that I signed an NDA for that is no longer valid. I was a junior at USC working in Topping Student Center on campus in 1995. I was an administrative assistant to the President of Student Affairs that semester in the work/study program.

In early 1995, Robert Shapiro and Robert Kardashian (USC Alumni) walked up to my desk and said they had an appt with my boss. I was studying to be a criminal defense lawyer with a dual major in PoliSci and International Relations so I knew who they were. The meeting lasted about 30 mins.

After they left I looked at my boss like wtf was that all about!? He walked me outside and we sat by the old sprawling big tree outside Topping and my boss lit a cigarette for the first time in years and told me I had to sign an NDA because I could confirm OJ's lawyers were there for a meeting. Then he told me what the meeting was about.

Before OJ could graduate from USC, the university paid off two families of two blonde white girls that he had dated and battered. They had both gone to the LAPD to report it. One claimed he also sexually assaulted her in their relationship. The school had a vested interest in OJ going far in football and protected him at all costs. OJ had been in custody for 6 months and lawyers were in the discovery process for the trial and OJ's friend Robert Kardashian, who knew OJ from also being a student at USC, thought it would be best if those stories never saw the light of day. So a large check was written, given to my boss, and they left. I'll never forget holding that check."

"They" are full of ****.

The area was dark and very small. OJ had the element of surprise and more than enough strength to almost decapitate his ex-wife.

His blood was found from the crime scene, to the gate, in the bronco, and ultimately to his ******* bedroom.

I drove to the crime scene and then to OJs house. It was almost literally around the block.

****** was a murderer who set up a shell company in his kid's names to write a book about killing their mother.

**** OJ
OJ was a fit 46 yo, 6 ft 4"+/-, 230lb +/-, former NFL football player. Completely capable of killing those two by himself. I remember the defense saying how a 46 yo wouldn't be physically able to murder them.

Wouldn’t people notice if he was in custody for 6 months?

He could have been one of the more beloved people in his era. Had it all, But based on his rage Guns and Roses made a song about him. Now I hope nobody attends any services.

That song sure wasn’t.

I loved watching him run the ball, I grimaced at his bad commentary, I laughed at his movies (both good and bad), and winced at his acts of violence. At the risk of being crushed here, I celebrated his verdict of innocence; for one, I was glad to see an African American get a shake before a court. I didn't realize that could happen, after all, people of color get railroaded regularly. But it also made me not want to go into law. It made me realize you get the justice you can afford, as we see today with.....

While I see your point I would never celebrate a murderer going free and seeing the families of the victims have a breakdown on National TV

And there were recordings of police calls from Nicole out there regarding all of their altercations through the years.

He should have been under way more scrutiny early on.

Iirc here's a few videos of him switching back and forth between his charming big personality to very intense psychotic eyes in an instant when pressed on something controversial.

I get why some celebrated, but I am in the "2 wrongs don't make a right" camp.

Prosecution lawyers were so incompetent, they should have been tried. Dried leather after it has been wet shrinks, cop with racist messages as a witness!
Putting it on TV was a huge part of the problem. Judge Ito peering through his desk full of random clocks, A defense that brought up some of the most ridiculous questions. A prosecutor that suddenly got a glamor makeover. There was a computer monitor on Ito's desk, amongst all the clocks, that was swapped out after about 3 days for a new monitor with the letters SONY on the back. Chris Darden was specifically told to not ask OJ to try on the gloves but he did it anyway because it would have added a dramatic moment.

Ron Goldman’s slaughter seems forgotten in most of these stories, murdered because he was returning a pair of glasses. I don’t think OJ ever coughed up much of the $33 million plus that the civil jury awarded his family.

I think OJ thought he had CTE. Will be interested to see if they confirm that.

Love that song. Still play it from time to time. Hope this doesn’t convict me down the road. Take it for what it is.
