If anyone is ever wondering the brain capacity of an Iowa fan just read this post....Iowa State = Last Chance U. Now keep in mind this thread they were posting in was about AJ leaving Iowa. That's right Iowa State is the last chance U not Iowa (cough AJ, Anthony, PD3, etc).
That’s rich considering how many of Iowa’s best wrestlers the past several years were transfers.
Just off of the top of my head: Eirman, DeSanto, Woods, Franek, Caliendo, now Parco.
I am sure I am missing some.
Lugo, Jason Renteria, Teske, Bennett, and didn't teasdale transfer to IA too?
Teasdale was definitely at Iowa for a bit
It was a shot at Ech. Of course, since they took in Desanto, AJ, PD3 they were being saviors to those young men. I wonder what's different?
Ech is literally the only "Last Chance" kid Dresser has taken a chance on, and Dresser/the University made Ech go through a ton of hoops to prove himself before letting him on the team. Ech is one of the nicest kids on the team and just got caught up in a bad situation at tOSU. He has the support system he needs in Ames and is thriving in the Iowa State wrestling room. If Barta was still the AD, I guarantee you AJ would be on the Iowa team next fall and taking PD3 after his disaster in Ames was the definition of insanity.
We need a Polo team, we are guaranteed national runner ups no matter what.
I like how he does the make the fish look bigger move by leaning forward when he flexes.
He took on the Higgins kid, that told me he was willing to accept headaches. it was fun chatting with his dad, but you kept him at a distance.
And that is the Gonzo that posts here. This is why I blocked him. He will talk all nicey nice to you guys here and then bad mouth you on the hawkeye boards. Two-faced.

Exactly. Ech could not be a nicer kid from the multiple interactions I’ve had with him.
And you absolutely cannot call us Last Chance U when you’re dicking around with the god damn Ferrari’s.
There needs to be a follow-up documentary on Ech. There is no doubt the stuff he had to do just to be able to get the opportunity to be allowed on the team let alone becoming one of the many great faces of the program is something I bet only a handful of guys would or could do.
You know I can't really put my thumb on it from Iowa fans...it's almost like the time Hoiberg took on some transfers and they got labeled Thug U... But no there would never be any racist undertones thrown out by iowa fans...right? Right?
Lol, the reason he has me on ignore (or claims he does, I know he reads my posts), is because I busted him and his buddy Cat Stevens/1969 for saying some pretty repugnant stuff about parents of Iowa FB players, and he didn’t like it. I’ve avoided posting in wrestling threads here since the epic meltdown of 2022 when someone posted a pic of Tom Brands’ son mocking him, posted Alex Marinelli’s bank records saying their home purchase was shady, and accused Cass of being on PEDs. I probably said some stupid things years and years ago, but since then ISU wrestling is the only area I don’t like and I haven’t made a secret of it. Other than that, I’ll stand up for Iowa and myself when appropriate, but I’ve had zero issues with ISU teams, fans, posters, etc. and genuinely get along with most others here. Have even met a few tailgating. I know you and some others don’t like me and have called me plenty of colorful names, but hey there’s always “ignore.”
