I can’t recall every host I have ever heard. She is the least knowledgable I can recall.
He isnt wrong. Miller and Condon is the best though.
I don’t mind them, but if gambling isn’t your thing, it’s not always an easy listen.
I will agree with that. Other wise they talk sports.
True. As far as sports talk, they are number 1 in DSM no question.
I’d still take Murph and Andy if you are looking for entertainment with a sports lean.
Really hoping they can pull a rabbit out of their hat and get a good local show to fill the 1-3 slot.

The lack of historical perspective from the show in question is alarming. And the ‘fart jokes’ are embarassing,even for those two.

This thread is 188 pages of comparing about murph and Andy and what topics they talk about and now it’s “it will unlistenable without them”.
I don’t live in Iowa but it’s 2024 you can get any sports topic you want through Sirius or podcast on your phone.
You want Iowa state? You have CF and others. Iowa sports mixed in? Iowa everywhere. Big 12? Multiple podcasts annd Sirius shows out there. The list is even more expansive with the professional leagues. Best part is you can just skip through if you don’t like the topic.

Podcasts don’t always have live reactions to news happening that day. That’s why I enjoy live local radio when I can. Murph and Andy, to me, was the most enjoyable.
I also can’t listen to podcasts at work easily, but radio is an option.
I wish they would start calling out her awful takes, but I’m guessing they are too professional to do that.
M&C is a good all around sports show, it’s not super local based.
M&A is a very well produced show, the more segment is usually great everyday. Certainly not a fan of the daily Clark update since mid November.
The Drive is really hit or miss. I tend to like Sean, but is “I never branch out from what I know” bit gets old. He’s in his mid 30’s now

M and A brought up BC and the Lynx and said they won the commissioner's cup "Whatever that it is" comment from Murph. If Fever won it he'd be able to tell us the complete history of it.
Well it’s 4 years old and sponsored by a crypto company, so not really well known. Interestingly, they each make 41k for winning, which is more than half of Clark’s contract.
I want the sports talk shows on KXNO to be good. It would be great to have general sports talk with a state of Iowa angle. I tune in every so often, and it’s too much non sports talk. Hosts trying to be funny and talking about their personal lives or stories. I don’t need the hosts to be funny and feel like they are my friend.
I’d like great sports discussion, breaking news, and good guests (actual sports related guests not pseudo advertisement guests), all with an Iowa angle to it. I don’t feel like this is what the shows bring.
It’s ok, it’s just not for me, the national shows give me more of what I want.

The last couple weeks of M and A have been fun. Lots of throwbacks, surprises, ect. I will be sad when its over. Sure its been cringy with CC, but I think we Cyclone fans don't want to admit she has changed women's basketball quite a bit. There just needs to be a limit to the obsession. I hope Audi gets a ton of love next year because she deserves it.

Well, they could have ******* googled it and not been dismissive of it. If CC has truly helped the wnba and increased interest in it, Murphy should be interested in all aspects. I know Bridget didn’t grow up here but she played 4 years in Iowa. If CC’s team had won it, they’d know every ******* detail.
