One of the most unique and intriguing 2026 prospects is Addison Bjorn. Her continuing development, amazing athleticism, and ability got her into and win the U17 Basketball World Cup:

We had a commit in the U17 championship, didn't we? I know Fennelly was a world university games coach and some other international (?) high profile gig.

Not wanting to invest much time in this, it was likely Bridget Carleton I remembered.

2025 verbal Freya Brahe Jensen has been on the Danish team for various junior championships. 2022 U16 and 2023 U18, and she'll be playing in the upcoming 2024 U18 Eurobasket Div B championship.

I was surprised as I've heard of four of those (including Freya)!

Good reason for a good showing next March at Hilton South in her backyard.

I don’t follow women’s recruiting. Looks like Bill recruits way different than TJ. TJ seems to recruit about five guys total and gets three of them.

Some years there are up to 50 WBB recruits of interest per class, obviously some more highly recruited than others, and only two commintments out of that 50! Not all WBB coaches do that, but many approach that level. So, Bill is not much different than many other WBB Coaches. It is almost a shotgun, see-what-sticks approach, and moves pieces around when the top targets fall through.

TJ's ideas on how to operate his program are out in the open. That is to know his needs, focus on those precisely, find "realistic" targets to fill needs, keep up the relationships, and be real. TJ has proven highly successful. Bill has a history of his own success. One is efficient the other "is what it is," and has been that way for a while.
