Denver, SLC, and PHX are now Big 12 controlled! In addition, the conference has a major presence in the following growth markets: Orlando, Dallas, and Houston. Even KC is growing Insane the current stability we have right now when you consider where the Big 12 and ISU have been since this all started...

6 - Destin, FL...it's basically a friggin' island...only way to grow is up...there are a crap ton of condo's though...13,900 total people

Never mind...I see they included Crestview-Fort Walton Beach-Destin, FL Metro Area as the area...basically an area bigger than the Omaha metro.

The gist of the article was since 2018 if you watched four big 12 games on a Saturday afternoon, two would be one score games. If you watched the same number of Sec games you were fortunate to have one game that was one score. Same for Big 10. He said the Big 10 and SEC have turned into the rich, but boring leagues.

What an idiot. But I guess what was he going to say in his position. But he really did make himself look like a fool.
Yeah, he HAS to say "everything will be fine" and project confidence. He can still be a fool.

But wow, seeing him talk and interact... he comes off as an empty suit, just zero presence. He seems more like the guy that runs the church picnic, not a 9 figure business. No wonder the P12 disintegrated. Nobody had any confidence in him, or fear of him.

Compare w Yormark, who comes across as sharp, savvy, and in control.

That shirt reaks of desperation. I can already picture cheesy billboards with the same phrase scattered throughout Texas. Reminds me of "We buy gold for Cash!"
I thought the same thing when I saw that shirt. They are desperate to "right the ship". The quote didn't seem nearly as desperate. He was asked a direct question and gave a logical and direct answer. But now just going around advertising "We pay players" is like begging please come play here. I wonder how long they have been using their unreported private funds to pay players? Now they can say so out loud.

Really GK was put in a horrible situation due to the decisions of his predecessor but..
He really came off like an @ss in interviews and acted like he and the Pac were not even in the same playing field as the Big 12. He was right, but not in the sense he expected.
GK was privilege personified. It was obvious to outsiders the entire time that he didn't understand the PACs value and the shifting landscape of college sports. He just assumed that the way it was always would be, because the PAC was 'better' than the Big 12 and deserved more because of how much 'better' they were. BY, who is as present in reality as much as any commissioner, ran laps around him.
