Looking for assistance

I was hoping to buy season tickets but my current seats are “TBD” - does anyone know if/when I would know where I’d be sitting?

Thanks in advance
The seat selection has not opened yet for men's or women's basketball. If you are renewing tickets, you will have the same seats as last year, unless you change at your assigned time. If you are buying new ones, you will be assigned a time to select seats based on Cyclone Club donation level. You will receive an email in advance with the date and time you can log in for seat selection.

It'll be a interesting season this yr, hope Bill continues to let them play with the freedom and exuberance that they had last yr.
Why would he change? This is the first year (assuming the freshman develop) that any player can step on the floor, contribute, and not be a liability. We will have the most depth we've ever had and can do things offensively and defensively that we couldn't do in the past due to depth/experience.

Let's just say sometimes some of Bill's offenses have been playercentric, more than some would have preferred.

I agree. This team is loaded with capable offensive players. Audi is a huge mismatch, but we have the talent to make them pay if they aren’t playing us straight up. Balance on offense will make us really good.

Yes due in the past to limited leaders, role players, and skill in many positions. It is also due to Bill's style that such was the case. He has the skill now. Perhaps he has the wisdom. Maybe he has seen his mistakes. However, Bill could or should not, have that issue again. Unlikely, because too many skilled players now want the ball and will take the shot or pass to the open player if needed. One star, two stars? No, it will be a constellation.

At least the recent past. This team reminds me of the Welle, Frese, Francis, Gahan days.

I re-watched the E8 2024 NCAA Tourney game win for South Carolina vs Oregon State (70-58):

Hansford #2 came in off the bench with 12 points/27 minutes in the game. Her defense is sometimes sort of lax, otherwise, her experience with OSU and in the NCAA Tourney is a big plus.

(What was the foul at the 40:20 mark? What a pile.)

Lily's downtown trey was a thing of beauty in the game-look forward to more of that:

I didn't see Emily in the Carroll camp pictures or the Ames farmers market pictures. Is there something to be concerned about?

I was wondering about that too. Hope last year’s injury is not a problem again

I watched the same game. I think Hansford is a player. Her length and 3 point shooting is really good.

Any one concerned that Ryan is not in any of the team pictures this summer?

Don't know. Would be good to have her in town with all of the new players. On the other hand, she's a 5th year senior and no need to be here for classes. Just hope she is staying healthy in her time away from fitness coaches.

Not really we know she committed to coming back, so I have no reason to think otherwise. That girl bleeds cardinal and gold IMO.
I think it has been common for players in graduate school to have summer internships. It is possible that is what Emily is doing, but I would think she would be with the team soon.

No. Not at all worried. She is not injured. She's 22 or 23 and in grad school. There are a million things she could be doing and not be there the one day they are videoing. She doesn't need practice and has all fall to get to know her teammates.

It's pretty clear she's not doing summer workouts with the team. I'm not worried about anything and have no problem with her being excused from it if she has something more important going on, but she's clearly not there.

Of course, Ryan isn't there! That's the Iowa State Sand Volley Team!
