The government required a lot of these for green initiatives. (Told this by a CEO of an electric company). Well..........what has happened? Seen all those spinny things out in the country and those black flat things facing south out there also? Electric companies just started going with turbines and solar panels so they could take the government rebates/grants for themselves instead of having to have a crew come out and look at things or do the paperwork about you getting a new fridge. That is why most have left.

I fremember watching my gauge go down, down, down as I was driving to the closest station --HyVee gas. It was 0 before I got to the intersection and was afraid I'd either stop in the middle or need to try to coast through it and around the corner, then into the station. My 3.5 year old son is a big time handful. He has now gotten into the habit of throwing things like toys and now will slap my wife and I or talk back to us. Taking him out in public is difficult enough that we often decline going out to places. We went to a church service last last and both boys were screaming and making a mess. We also chased my son around the church a few times.
My wife and I get up early (around 5:30 so we can have some quiet time to talk and do a workout. This morning, but the 3.5 year old and 1 year old woke up at 5 and it completely derailed our morning routine. After 20 minutes, I finally lost my patience which led to both my wife and I breaking down in tears.
Anyways, For parents of boys, what age do they finally start to settle down?

35ish, give or take a couple of years. Helps if they have a boy or two of their own by then.
Mine were 19 months apart. Our church was a village, and everyone corralled everyone's kids, so I was lucky in that respect. I had more trouble with them when they were older (4th grade on) because they were VERY different personalities. In high school I wondered if they would ever be friends again. They are. But they're in their forties now.
The slapping of mom needs to be snuffed out like NOW. Different kids respond different ways at different times. So they will have their wild times and it’s usually a phase.

My son told me his vehicle was low, I went to fill it up before school for him and the gauge never moved. I put 14.5 gallons in it. The book said it held 14. Not long after the fuel pump gave out. I believe it sucked all the crap that accumulates on the bottom and burned out the pump.
Wife put on the state fair highlights. She loves that. They started tonight with the nationalization ceremony that they had at the state fair. I’ve never been to one but the lady who used to own the Mexican store uptown asked my wife’s best friend to go with her. She said it’s something special to attend if you ever get to go. Wife’s friend said she was even crying from all the joy that was there.
We are probably going Saturday but I will have to check to see if they have the ceremony next year.

Fair was fun by exhausting. Gabriel was worth admission as always. Next time going down to enough essentials before a grandstand show because 14 hours at the fair in 1 day is insane.
