Sama averaged almost 20 yards per carry against KSU. Since that game we have played 6 quarters and have 20 yards rushing... I think less than 10 by running backs.
Since that game is only one and a half games. That not a lot of possessions to really conclude anything.

Dude. This is game 1. Lighten up.

People need to support our team, even thru adversity. If we don't have the season we all want (not saying we won't), we still need to support our guys.

One of the reasons I argue strongly against the "just win the game" argument with the soon to be 12-team CFP system, we are at a disadvantage. Big 12 teams are and will be in an uphill battle with all the metrics that matter, compared to the D2 (recruiting, facilities, NIL, etc.).

It's amazing how quickly people ***** about our teams, every year! Sure, we would like to up by 4 TD's and it'd be great to stop ND on every possession, with no 1st downs allowed, etc, etc.

It's probably best to lessen expectations in both FB and BB, generally, and try to enjoy the games, regardless of what happens. Root for the team and players, good or bad. And remember, game 1. We've been here before.
People are pissed because the script never changes.

One more season of pissing and moaning
I’m shocked at how some of these people have been Iowa state fans their whole lives. This is absolutely nothing and a lot of people are crying. I watched isu get blown out by 2 different fcs teams in my 4yrs in college

I honestly don’t remember anyone hyping the offensive line. That being said, I’m glad I didn’t have any optimism for that this year.

... um.. okay. You are correct but was that not mentioned?
You are correct but it's one bowl game and a half of the first game the following season... so who cares in the first place? There's no conclusions you can reach from a small frame of reference... so... um... who cares?

That was very frustrating, but the 35 or so yards on a stupid screen pass with a minute in the hall is inexcusable.
They aren't even trying to throw it downfield. Pretty much all the throws are within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage.

There shouldn't be anything wrong with expecting more than 14-3 against an FCS team. We should be able to rush for more than 29 yards and not give up 173 yards on defense against this level of opponent.

Not sure if there is anything more Iowa state than possibly losing our top defensive player the first game of the year against North Dakota on a ******* punt play.

Our O Line is so bad. Overhyped by Williams and Blum and then extremely underperforming. A tradition as old as time.
Oline is bad but if you’ve listened to Williams and Blum long enough you know they can’t/won’t ever **** on a position group or player. If you listened/read between the lines you’d know that they didn’t think they’d be good at all
