Is it possible they already discussed the game? Because, you know you'd be ******** if they waited 1 and 1/2 hours into their show before they brought it up.

Oh I'm sure they were talking about it before I tuned in (at least I'd hope so), but don't you imagine the biggest game of the year in our state would involve more than one hour of discussion, especially when they know that new listeners are climbing on board every minute?

I guarantee you they'd have still been discussing the game if Iowa had won.

Wonder if they mentioned in the Fever game vs the Lynx on Friday that Cyclone Bridget Carleton owned CC in crunch time (last 4 minutes with Lynx were up 81-80) - (3-3 from 3 / off reb and assist that led to another 3) - CC - Ofer down the stretch.

The refs were fine, and it’s a very good and reputable crew. I can’t for the life of me remember *any* controversial calls on Saturday, regardless of who it benefited.

Listening to 2 Guys and I’ll give Hassel credit for this nugget: the wheel route that Porter picked off was the exact same play that Texas ran and scored on in the game last year. ISU recognized it immediately and made adjustments on the fly.

While that is true for those 2 it bothers me when listening to a show and the hosts claim they are sick of a topic because they have already discussed it on other random show they also host.

There is a good chance that the audience is completely different and have not heard comments from the host on whatever subject. I tuned into that specific show to hear X host talk about Y topic. Not to hear X host claim they are sick of Y topic because they've already talked about it.

Doc was saying there he thought there was more time that should of come off in the final minutes when Iowa was trying to run clock out.

Did he mention the blatant offensive PI in 2017 the Big 10 refs ignored on Iowa's last possession? Did he bring up the ghost holding call against ISU in 2019 that nullified a first down in FG range with 2;13 left in the game? I do not want to hear his BS on Big 12 refs.

They don't get to choose if a topic was "already covered" on another show they were on. Absolutely f*** that. They damn well better spend a significant amount of time talking up Iowa State's win, how we played, etc. And I hope it is very painful and annoying for them.

Travis completely drives the coverage on the morning show. If he isn't interested in the topic (no matter how relevant it is) it doesn't get covered. In the past, he would say that they covered ISU's win in the earlier hour. I would go back to the podcast to listen and their would only briefly mention the score and that is it.

The play clock kept running but the game clock did not. He wrote asking for clarification. He did not blame the loss on that. ISU just beat Iowa in Kinnick and we have people looking for slights that are not there.
