New music tradition?

So need some old timers to chime in, I think I remember going to games in the early 90s and them playing this. My sister remembered for sure she was at ISU from ‘92-‘95.
Can we have the Hamms beear song back too???? Asking for a friend.
Thought the atmosphere was electric once we had the two PIs called against us. Angry ISU fans bring it.
Getting emotionally invested in watching a bunch of kids play a game is cringe and corny yet I still love it just like the Juicy Wiggle. It's sports get over yourself.
I want to say a few years ago he replied to a tweet someone sent him of a video.
Love Juicy Wiggle, hate the choreographed dance. Wish everyone would just let loose, go nuts, and for night games get their phone flashlights out to light up the stadium.
Yeah, it says something about you. It was new for her too at the first game. Mike was cranked too high, she was over-the-top enthusiastic and ear-piercingly loud.
Clearly someone had a conversation with her, worked with her, and she listened and adjusted. She has been much better in the subsequent games. If you can't recognize that, maybe you could at least stop ripping her apart unjustly?
Interesting. For my part, that's exactly what I see happening. Some do the dance moves, some just rock out. Others do the cell phone thing. I see nothing wrong with all of the above. It's unique to us and I love it for that as well.
It was said more in jest than it reads. Like I said, it's fine. It's just so typical ISU to latch on to an awful song with a worse choreographed dance. I was there when it started. I have fun when it's played. I love nothing more than being at an ISU game. But come on, it's sooooo bad.

I was in H near the SW corner, and it was damn loud there. I feel for you.
Also the sound production crew needs to pay attention to the game and turn the music off when the referee is announcing a penalty, like he did with the offsides/out-of-bounds penalties on the kickoff after one of Baylor’s TDs. Not a clue as to what he said there with the music still blaring.
I would be surprised if there wasn't software running that's supposed to do that as soon as the ref turns on their mic.
I would love to know why the feedback is so terrible in stadium on the referee announcements.
Continuing to belt out Mr Brightside as the play started was very enjoyable. More please.
Love the 4th quarter intro video…need to start it a bit earlier to get it all in. the Smoke on the Water cover by 2WEI is a great kickoff lead in after the first score. All in all, better music all around.
I wonder if any other schools or crowds do this? If not, its genius and obvious at the same time.
Our bartender and server at Wallaby's didn't know what "orange whips" meant and hadn't heard of the Blues Brothers and my group felt very old as a result on Friday night. And then they were on the big screen on Saturday. That was weird.
The cedar rapids kernels have been using that cab Holloway sound clip for like 2 decades I think. Not that they're really a competitor.
