Funny. There's just more I wish we could've talked about. She's a weather nerd like me, and even started out studying meteorology. Kinda regretting not talking about that more.

She bartends Friday and Saturday nights at a local place I go to occasionally, which i had no idea she worked there, I usually only go during the week when it's not busy. Now I feel like if I go there and she's working, it'll send the wrong message.

Just skip this week but keep doing what you do. Don’t let her missed opportunity affect you. Brush it off and don’t let it affect you.

I agree it would be better to stay away unless she asks you to stop by.
Being that a bar is a social atmosphere many people forget that it is the bartender's job. (sadly many bartenders forget that as well and treat it as a place to get wasted while earning some money)

Glanced out my deck door this morning and saw a package by side door into the house. A misdelivered big ass burrito from Pancheros. Too bad it had sat our for 12 hours. (receipt said delivered at 9:30 pm). Bad enough to the wrong house but to my side door? Man, that's going to stink up my garbage by the time pickup happens on Monday.

And surprised the local gang of raccoons didn't find it. Man, that would have been a mess.

They have one of the best fish dinners around, so I'm still going to go there if I feel like having fish. But yeah, I know to wait a little while before I do.

Wife ordered a couple political signs off Amazon. What she forgot to do was to see where they were being delivered to. All I can is our son is gonna be pissed when these arrive at his apartment tomorrow. I was in the process of ordering an air hose attachment and noticed it. Should I say anything to her??

So on our way home from dinner tonight wife had to make a stop to get a couple yard signs. She came back and I asked why are you getting them when you ordered a couple. Then I started laughing and told her about her shipping snafu. I’m still laughing about it. I told her your mistake you better try and cancel it. If they won’t cancel the order you better call him and warn him.

Never had anything delivered to me since my mom stopped doing it. I’d have to pin the fields if my wife even thought about it.

What a year! Enjoying some top shelf stuff tonight. Corn is 13%. Surely will see 12%. Gonna be done Wednesday night. Later than I thought. Cant keep up with grain cart so found and ordered some trucks at a good rate with last one coming Thursday. Take Friday off and back to Ames for the Tech game. Three hours back home, sleep, then get ready for field work Sunday afternoon. Great times!! Love it!!

No in shell peanuts, just some trail mix. And I found out later that my wife, once again, shared my scotcheroos with our kids.
