Random Thoughts 18: The Year of Fire

I went to the dentist for a cleaning and checkup. Everything looked good, but the appointment was still excruciating for me. The hygenist scraping my teeth was like nails on a chalkboard.

I now have to wear safety glasses when they clean my teeth.

I picked up an online order of groceries over my lunch hour. When I got home, I opened up the back hatch and a tub of greek yogurt fell onto the ground. It split open and splattered all over my pants and shoes. I just cleaned these shoes yesterday.

It was vanilla I hope.

The algorithms of Facebook decided to tell me (1) of the high schools near my hometown area went 9-0 in "the inaugrual season of [conference]." Oh great, another new one? It's a one year trial run for just football. So I pulled up which schools were in what conference. One of the conferences has two schools similar to the distance between Mason City & Ottumwa. And remember, this is the Chicago suburbs.

Was looking for the Tuesday music thread. Bored tonight and was hoping the topic was one that resonated with me. And than remembered it's Monday.

Maybe last Boxster top down ride of the year this afternoon. Man, it does get dark early and with end of daylight savings next week it going to be a shock to my system.

I have another round of chaos blowing up any second now. These panicky little cheaters just won't do simple stuff simply.
