Yep , sometimes we arrive close to match time due to other commitments, the parking pass was a life saver . Really disappointed they took it away.
Big time I’m disappointed they took that away I always felt like a high roller
I can make a separate post in the ticket exchange for this, but I have a couple Junior Cyclone Club tickets someone can have for free if they'll use them. Only two of us attending tonight and not the entire fam.
TBH, I was always surprised they didn't charge for the reserved parking. I'm willing to give this a chance and think it will have little impact on where I end up parking, except when Coralville comes to town.
Has anyone explained the "why" behind this? I'm pretty annoyed by this but I'm willing to listen to a reasonable explaination.
Sound like it slowed parking down having to check passes. And I think people that didn’t know about reserved parking & had to turn around
They sent out an email last week. Here is their rationale. It will be fine for these smaller duals but when Iowa/OSU/UNI are in town those spots are going to go fast.

Ok. Well half the time the people on the north side of Hilton off that new(ish) entrance off lincoln way never checked the damn thing anyway.
What they should do is add it for just these duals (and probably the beauty and the beast thing). I don't know if that's feasible though.
I agree. Card in window for the big duals going forward. Digital was the issue for them...and now it's funny they went to digital only for tickets/johnnys
When you had the window hanger all they had to do was wave you by , no stopping to look at your mobile pass.
No doubt that it’s also a cost saving move. Remember that the program runs a 7 figure deficit. I’ll give up parking ‘security’ control for a 4 year Dresser extension all day long.

We stumbled into some Johnny's passes for tonight. What is available for food in there these days? Just trying to figure out if we need to go elsewhere to get something to eat of if there's anything substantial enough to hold over a 17 year old.
