They also subbed on offense to clock the ball which is so ******* stupid. Why give the defense a chance to substitute and run more time off the clock? Fortunately the KU defenders did us a favor and subbed pretty quickly.

What a disaster. That last drive and the usage of the clock and not using time out number 3 was the dumbest thing I’ve seen in a while. Unbelievable by this staff.

Campbell has done this his whole coaching career. He loves field goals more than touchdowns.

It’s a great strategy really, get your kicker a lot of confidence for when you really need it!

Honestly between Ferentz and Campbell it’s like once you cross the mighty Mississippi you forget how to manage a game.

He's not wrong. Clocking the ball there is ridiculously bad coaching/prep. Mouser HAS to have a play ready there

Higgins lost his helmet. You want to run a play without your best receiver in there? He could only come back in with a play or a timeout. In that spot, I’d waste a play.

To keep this staff is to accept mediocrity. Campbell will never win 10 games here. He has no killer instinct and does not have a good feel for time/field position that great coaches have. He’s a slightly above average coach with slightly above average talent playing against teams with good coaches or good talent.

Other than the Covid season, name a critical game Matt has won - ND embarrassed him in bowl, lost Big 12 Championship game, lost Alamo Bowl, lost Cheez It Bowl to Clemson, the whole season after the Covid Season, lost to TT to go 8-0 for the first time ever, 2 Gameday Iowa games, etc…

Yes he has beat some ranked teams, but at the end of the day, it hasn’t mattered.
