Black is still better than the combos they came up with in CMC's early years. I remember red jerseys with gray pants and then gray jerseys with red pants. And then there were the yellow on yellow combos.

I think the black uniforms look cool. I can understand why Campbell and the players like them. Many teams have non-school color alternate uniforms like black and gray. My high school football teammates always loved black on black as well. I always felt like coaches used the uniform combinations to keep things fresh and interesting for the players. There is clearly a vocal section of the fanbase that has thoughts on the black uniforms. My guess is it is a vocal minority. If someone wants to put up a poll to prove this to themselves, feel free. Oregon with their Nike money was an innovator of multiple alternate uniforms and used that as a branding and recruiting tool. And it is also a way to sell more jerseys and apparel to fans. I don't think the fanbase is in favor of changing the school colors, so the frequency of alternate uniforms is up to debate.

I don't particularly like the black uniforms. Or the all white. I like the school colors and personally, I wish we were back in the 80s with our uniforms or early 90s.

But, I also know that's not the way the world of uniforms is going and that the black and white and all white or all black uniforms are here to stay so I can accept it. But personally? My viewing enjoyment outside of winning, does go up when its actually cardinal and gold

Only if you quit making stupid posts. Also that whole know nothing joke is so tired. Maybe quit repeating the same joke all the other non funny, no good response having posters write.

If you pick the name 'knownothing' you should expect jokes. A sense of humor is a good thing.

It was funny the first couple times. However, if you tell the same joke 1000 times, it’s no longer funny. It’s just having no ability to come up with something better. It’s tired like I said.

The joke is going to continue knowing it bothers you.

I do not think folks who would like to see our school colors used more are wrong. I like our school colors. Alternate unis should be just that an occasional option. We do use all black stuff way to much IMHO. But that is my opinion and I do not make the decisions.

Wow. We just won a game where we used our timeouts to perfection to score a game tying FG at the half. We had a masterful 4th quarter TD drive that ate the clock and put us up by 2 scores with little time left. We converted numerous long 3rd down conversions and 4th down conversions. We pulled off a successful fake punt. We overcame numerous injuries on defense and made enough adjustments to win a crucial game.

What game were you watching? If that is your assessment of the Iowa State game last night, you have some issues.
We weren’t up by 50 after the first quarter. Coaching malpractice
