My first child is due right around the day of game. 3 hour drive from our birth center to Ames. I’m as sicko as it gets, but I’ll be watching this one from the hospital.
Not a valid reason. Tell the wife the name will be Matthew Campbell whatever your last name is and someday she’ll understand. If it’s a girl the name may be her choice (women always need a hmmm he thinks of me a little)
See you there

I'm 41, married with a 6 year old. I live in KC but will be in Ottumwa this weekend for our family Thanksgiving and I just started texting a bunch of high school/college friends to get a group of us to go and fill as many seats as we can.

I do feel a call to action as an alum and fan to help fill the Jack for this team. They're playing for more than any other Iowa State Football team in the history of the program on Saturday. They deserve packed and loud stadium.

I hate to be this guy, but there’s no doubt if Iowa was in our position they would absolutely fill Kinnick Stadium even in 0 degree weather.
They have a bigger fanbase by a couple hundred thousand people - at least.

And the student section wouldn’t be full there either. It rarely is vs Nebraska.

This is the biggest game in school history.

I'm driving 10 hours to Ames with 2 little kids and a wife that couldn't care less.... TICKETS ARE CHEAP AND AVAILABLE!!!

You won't regret it.

Driving 10 hours is one thing, but it's the "with two kids and a wife that couldn't care less" part that impresses me.

I tip my hat to you. Well done, sir. Well done.

I've been to every Iowa State- K-State game since 2015.

I've seen the Paul Rodes debacle where he was fired right after the game, saw the infamous flag pickup game, saw Snyder's last game and Campbell's first win against him, saw Brock and Breece dominate them on the road, saw Sama running wild in a blizzard.

So this year it just so happens that we are taking our daughter to Disney on Ice so excuuuuuuuuuuse me if I'm sitting it out this year. Sorry that I'm a horrible fan.

Yup - going to have somewhere between a 3 and 5 day old - I don't think my wife would appreciate me leaving her. Congratulations!

Not exactly sure.

And their students get to buy 2 tickets and then they let Kirkwood students claim they are students also.
