1. didn't realize Hunter plays for memphis now. Wow.
2. this is a typical hawaii vacation showing so far from Uconn, but they probably didn't think Hunter would have half their points.
3. this is historically the best tournament outside the actual conference and NCAA tournament. Couldn't Maui splurge on the court? why are there 80 other lines on the court?
4. If Uconn wins, my gut says Iowa state leaves the island 1-2 (loss to Auburn, Win against Dayton and Loss versus UCONN. Who knows. maybe Auburn stayed out all night.

It's one game but this UCONN team doesn't look as dominant as the past couple seasons. Still a force but obviously beatable
Nice story and all. But if we get the calls Memphis is getting Keshon is going to shoot 30 free throws tonight.
Why the heck did Memphis not call time out there? they have 19 coaches on the bench.

Always thought early in year refs call it tight then loosen up later in season

You need to sit on the bench cuz it cost them. Horrible game management by Memphis.
Agreed. There’s always some sort of emphasis at the start of the season that gets called constantly and never gets called once the new year comes around.
Memphis’s best guard also fouled out. He was their only offense for a while in the second half.
