Generally we are negatively impacted more by whistle happy refs, so I sure hope not. The most physical they allow it to be, the better, and if we get this type of officiating it'll suck.

As long as it is even, I don’t think we’re too bad off. We have a lot of experienced depth on the perimeter.

Dan Hurley gets away with so much, just because he wins. What a jerk. Can't believe refs don't T him up 2 minutes into every game.

And they really should enforce the coaches box - why do coaches get to prance around the entire sideline and go 5 ft onto the court all the time?

I am sure this has been discussed, but why did they put colorado versus Mich St? They knew where all these teams were going to be somewhat ranked.
seems like Auburn should have gotten Colorado and ISU got Michigan state. That would have given each high ranked team a game against a good non ranked team. I am sure they wanted to get UCONN into the title game is my guess. Seems odd you got 3 top ten team in the bottom bracket and 1 ranked team on the top.

It’s like Dremond Green, if you act up so much the refs just blow it off as Hurley being Hurley. It’s when you go beyond your normal character that they’ll T you up.

When did this tourney line up get announced?

Maybe they weren't quite sure vs. potential transfer situations.

Totally agree with this is how they should have done the bracket, and it ends up not working out so great for their plan to get UCONN into the championship!!

Good point, but I am pretty sure we all knew when it was release that Auburn and Iowa state were both in the running to win their conference titles along with UNC. Colorado and Mich St I don't think were.

Just seems odd, but oh well.

Don't they just draw lots? Don't believe there is any predetermined match up..But I can certainly be wrong

From what I can see, pairings/bracket announced Aug. 20.

So even with some anticipation of "pecking order" and ranking likelihood, there's possibility for some change by week 3 after most teams have played several games.

Colorado has some size but otherwise hasn't looked very impressive against MSU here.
