Just a matter of time. That afternoon show definitely blows now without Sean.

I just can't handle Lucas and his snotty little takes. The dude thinks he knows EVERYTHING about sports and gambling and he just wears me out. Sean may be dumb as heel but I would rather listen to him as he's fairly grounded. Lucas is just a young dip sh!t Hok homer.

Testifying
Emory, Ross, and Justin Miller were better than Travis, Heather, and Lucas.

Sean Roberts just announced he is moving to mornings full-time. Sounds like it will be Heather & Lucas Strain in the afternoon. Said it was a decision from out-of-town corporate.
Brutal...just brutal listening

Lucas somehow interjected himself over the last year into the show as opposed to being a producer. He has an ego the size of the state.
Heather constantly interrupts.

While I like travis and Sean I don't care for them together

I'd bet a large sum of money that Miller and Condon are on Iowa Everywhere as soon as their current deal with KXNO is up.
Miller and Condon aren’t IHeart/ KXnO employees per se. They purchase their time. They’d be far better off sticking with radio I’d think.

If 1 more personality leaves or is laid off both shows are probably toast. I don't see them bringing in new people so as long as 1 is willing to both host and produce a show it will survive. Travis basically does this as a hobby, Sean quit his day job to do this full time, and Heather basically has been local radio in some capacity for a long time.

Ross and Chris was the best show KXNO had. When Murph and Andy left then the let Ross go that will probably be the move that set the wheels in motion for the death of local sports talk on local radio here. I am glad Chris had the vision to create IE as that may become our only source for local sports media one day if a locally owned radio station doesn't fill the void of shows iHeart is getting rid of.

KASI got gutted by iHeart, too -- both in terms of personnel and equipment/space. Via a couple of people formerly affiliated with KASI:

"KASI will no longer have a physical presence in Ames, but will broadcast from Des Moines by its owner iHeart Radio."

They should have moved Heather to the morning show. 2 o clock hour is usually the best from the Drive as it's just Lucas and Sean talking ball. 50+ year old woman and fresh out of college guy is sort of a weird dynamic for a sports show. I wonder what is going to happen with that Ireland trip they have booked and if KXNO will even still be a thing by then.

Just make sure you buy trip insurance.

Help us if that’s the case.
