Good win over Dayton and dominant win over Colorado. Went toe to toe with the best team and fell just short. Overall a good tourney and this team grew a lot in 3 days

Last year ISU played a lot of tomato cans and had a bad Thanksgiving tourney. And they still got a 2nd seed

Dayton was picked to finish 2nd in A10 they are a huge win. And a win like this for the net score will bump them way up. Cuz the won by almost 30


A loss to Auburn is not going to hurt seeding at all.

i said earlier in the thread, as long as we're not fighting Auburn for the final #1, that game could actually help us get a #1.

Impressive win. Really good tournament. No detraction losing a close game to Auburn. The announcers are all very high on Iowa State.

I really liked us playing a deep rotation this tourney. We have the skill and depth. It should be a big advantage for us this year.

Then again in Ames in February.

ISU could then theoretically play CU a 4th time in the Big XII tourney.

Even less likely, but hypothetically possible, ISU could play CU a 5th time in the NCAA tourney. lol

Even with playing a bunch of non-con cupcakes they still had a better resume than UNC for the 4th 1 seed. Dayton is a perennial contender in the A10 and should stay Q1 but they don’t carry the same value as beating a big name team in the committee’s eyes.

we shoot even in the 70s the rest of the season, especially if it's the high 70s, we win some of the games we couldn't close out the last few years.
