Why this response? The Auburn loss does sting. That’s not really debatable, is it?

Why are we so touchy in acknowledging that?
Sure it stings - but only because we blew a lead. Auburn is imo the best team in the country and we lost to them by 2 on a neutral floor. Anyone acting like not winning that game has affected or will affect anything tournament-wise negatively is just being dramatic.

ISU got hosed last year seeding wise. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to wish we had played more prestigious teams that people on the committee overvalue.
Last years best out of conference win was VCU who was far worse than Dayton. We also lost to a not good Virginia Tech. So far this year we are setting ourselves up much better. A home win next week to Marquette will also be a huge resume builder.

Who said he was in the doghouse?

ISU just recruited over players because of how good the program is right now.
The walk-ons and Fish are in now. Do you believe me now that he's done something wrong? He hasn't played 1 minute this entire tournament.

Is Pasch wrong or have we just been pronouncing Martin Rancik's name incorrectly this whole time?

Yeah, I don’t see us dropping. We lost by 2 to the team that will end up number 1 and UConn (#2) lost. Gonzaga is struggling against WVU right now. If any teams jump us I think we jump UConn and possibly Gonzaga.

UConn will absolutely drop. I predict Auburn takes their place and we slide up one to #4
