It probably helps the SEC get another team in somehow. I can’t come up with a logic, but I’m sure the committee would.
Because the SEC is so good it took so much out of Georgia that they almost lost one of their 2 noncon games to end the season.

Baylor is playing well now but also think KU may just be spent after this last month run they have had.

If Baylor holds on to go 8-4, and on top of that should’ve beaten Colorado, that’s a sneaky good season and good coaching job by Aranda.

Kind of like KU but with a less disastrous first half.

I think long term either Baylor of TCU will become a pretty dominant team in the league, maybe outside chance for Tech. Too much talent in Texas even after A&M/UT make their offers. TCU was winning dominantly with it in the MWC even. Both just need the ideal coach.

glad we played them when our defense was still relatively healthy. they'd give us all kinds of problems now.
Our defense might be more healthy today than it was that day. Baylor game was game the injuries really felt like they starting piling up. Dom went down but came kind of back. That’s also when Barnes was thrown at LB. I think Verdon or Beau went down for a bit that game.

one more Baylor score would make me feel better and move on to watching other games and hoping for out of conference chaos.

We played Baylor at the right time and Kansas at the wrong time. Other teams can relate too.

For some reason I thought the Baylor win was enough to get us in (with a win of our own). Disappointing to figure out we need Cincinnati too.

As long as ISU qualifies, I don't much mind which team we face, even if some matchups might be more favorable. A downside playing CU is we'd hear nothing but hype for them/Prime.
But upside of playing Colorado is beating the Buffaloes and taking their mojo to a higher seed! Plus, I would love for the CCG to be an Old Big 8 game!

All week, I thought Baylor beating Kansas was the second most likely (other than BYU winning). Kansas showing that they were a mess all season.
