This will be a good game for Watson to get his timing back and get into the flow of a game.

I'm guessing 4.

Tennessee, Auburn, Kentucky, us
Yeah, I think that win in Seattle vs Gonzaga cancels out their Clemson loss in the eyes of poll voters. If they had lost we would probably be #3.
Guessing duke comes in at #5

Tennessee
Auburn
Kentucky
ISU
Duke
KU

I don't necessarily think Kentucky winning at Gonzaga completely cancels out losing to an unranked Clemson, even if it wasn't a bad loss. Kentucky was very lucky to win that game - a game that they were out of for most of it.

Meanwhile, we controlled the game against a top 5 Marquette team for all but 5 minutes of the game this week.

As far as Duke, that loss to Kansas is looking worse and worse with every loss they pile up.

Auburn is the question mark. Sure, they lost at Duke, but they beat ISU. And even if it was a quality loss, teams typically drop when they lose. But can you just jump a team that beat that team in question?

As far as Kansas, I think they're going to slide a bit. While neither Creighton nor Mizzou is a bad loss, they lost to two teams this week. I don't think they fall out of the top 10, but personally I think it'll be at the bottom of it.

Here's another part of the problem: 4 of the top 5 have played each other - ISU lost to Auburn but has a top 5 win outside of that. Auburn beat ISU but lost to Duke; Duke beat Auburn but lost to Kentucky. Kentucky beat Duke but has a loss outside the top 25

Personally, I think it goes:

Tennessee
Auburn
ISU
Kentucky
Duke

They were #1.

A drop to #6 is still a decently large drop when they lost 2 games on the road.

Also 5,7,8 all lost so those aren't going to rise above KU

I disagree.

Marquette lost in Hilton to #6 ISU - nobody's going to kill them for that - and then went on to beat #11 Wisconsin.

Gonzaga lost to #4 Kentucky

Purdue's loss to Penn St wasn't great, but they came back to beat a very hot Maryland team that's probably going to be a top 25 team next week

Duke beat #2 Auburn this week. They are losing at Louisville at the half, but I expect them to come back and win.

Alabama lost a 1 possession game to an undefeated Oregon team that's probably going to enter the top 10 this week, then absolutely obliterated North Carolina

Sure, some of the teams behind them lost... but they all had better weeks than KU, who lost to two unranked teams.

If I had to expand my predicted top 5 to 10...

Tennessee
Auburn
ISU
Kentucky
Duke
Marquette
Oregon
Alabama
Purdue
Kansas

That’s not a bad top 10 prediction. I hope we jump Auburn, but since they beat us I think they might edge us by 5-10 total votes for second.
