This year's team certainly looks like one that can win there at Carver!I have faith in TJ and this team. Let's beat those Hawks!

My issue is that my hatred of losing exceeds my joy of winning. When we beat Iowa, I don't feel joy as much as I feel an immense sense of relief, so I'm super stressed even when we win.ive got to find a way to kick this myself with all iowa state bball games
but i cant record and not watch. that gives me even more anxiety.
$30 on stubhub is cheap for a rivalry game like this. Would be impossible to find something cheaper than that at a big game at HiltonI’m not seeing how these are reasonable prices. I’ve been watching but they are just way too expensive to have to drive all the way over to Carver and deal with that. For as many seats as there are available I think prices are actually really high.
The offense has be optimistic.....this is clearly the best offense we've had under TJ thus far. The bigs being able to score is a game changer. This year's team certainly looks like one that can win there at Carver!
Carver Hawkeye has better seats than Wells Fargo. Plus, not crowded.Seats may be available, but if they were truly "Really Good" seats, they'd be in Hilton.
In Carver there are only three tiers of seats: Elderly handsitters Courtside, off-campus student nosebleeds, and random spots where you are unable to watch the Hawkeyes play. That last category is the only one they can sell at a premium.
1) there are only a couple tickets (worst seats in the building) listed at $32, which of course doesn't include an $18 fee per ticket added on. The rest are $40+ (before fee)$30 on stubhub is cheap for a rivalry game like this. Would be impossible to find something cheaper than that at a big game at Hilton

The Presidents....how am i just hearing this one? Love it.Freeman is better than we give him credit for, but the Presidents are still a mismatch.
Since our bigs can play them straight up, try hard not to sag off Sandfort and Dix or leave them wide open on a trap.
If someone on their team is hot to start, stick Heise on them.
Gilbert may not get a friendly whistle if Fran is harassing the officials. He'll need to limit turnovers and empty possessions.
Stay out of foul trouble.

Gotcha, it’s all relative, but for me I consider a $50 all-in get-in price to be on the lower end for a rivalry game like this. Probably will be the cheapest we’ll get to see the clones play within driving distance for a power conference matchup1) there are only a couple tickets (worst seats in the building) listed at $32, which of course doesn't include an $18 fee per ticket added on. 2) hard to compare a nearly sold out Hilton to the morgue known as Carver for men's basketball.
Cheap/reasonable for their home games would be closer to $25 all in, IMO.
It would have to get down to less than $20 for me to consider. At Hilton I’d pay $50 no problem and consider that a good price. We have season tickets though so I’m not necessarily itching to go in person to this game.Gotcha, it’s all relative, but for me I consider a $50 all-in get-in price to be on the lower end for a rivalry game like this. When you have to tweet this, then you are at the level of Kansas football a few years ago when they had to do this to draw people to the Oklahoma game.
