Yeah but that's not the coaches primary job.

Just look at Iowa, based on the number of guys they put in the NFL you'd think they are National Title contenders every year, but they aren't. As a fan I prefer the coaches concentrate on winning games and let the NFL thing happen. If I was a fan of Iowa I'd be very disappointed in the results based on the "NFL talent" on the rosters.
Yeah, agree, but one should come with the other. Not always, but should. But do agree, winning is the main goal. With or without NFL players, although having better players should make the winning easier.

this could be a game changing get for someone. Without any info, it seems like this is an Oregon guy given the location, their warchest, and needing to replace Tez Johnson

Three years, two sacks.

Not good enough?

> 2024: George played and started in all 12 games for the Bengals racking up an impressive 57 total tackles on the season, 28 unassisted, and 29 tackle assists. . . George finished the year with 19.5 tackles for a loss of 71 total yards, leading the Big Sky Conference in the category. . . George had 6.5 sacks on the year as well. . . . <

Two sacks or 6-1/2 this year alone? I don't know, just asking.

Watch some tape. Good technique and instincts, would like to see him in a different system to utilize that and his high motor. Needs coaching but would help next year...IMO.
Im on the fence. He's struggled putting on weight and at that size in a 3-3-5... IDK. Will was not a giant of a man but he was taller / longer and with that length could keep blockers away from his body a bit more and a little bit heavier.

He's intriguing but the documented problems he had at UW of putting on weight ... at around 220 pounds... that's really light for an edge rusher, especially in a 3-3-5
