Skattebo is going to be a very good pro RB. I don't know how fast he is, fast enough, but he is just so hard to bring down easily. His yards after contact will be big in the NFL also.
He’s basically David Montgomery.

He was probably the only player I was bummed about losing last year. I thought he could be a great gadget guy/3rd-down back for us this year. But props to him, going to get a payday as a feature back somewhereI see interest in Eli Sanders for Mich State, Louisville, Arkansas, Utah, Arizona, and probably others. He did it right, go down, kick ass, then go back up.
I don't know if I believe this but people on here said he left because he couldn't beat out Abu.He was probably the only player I was bummed about losing last year. You're right. I didn't know that Monty is 5-11, 230. Very similar size. He’s basically David Montgomery.
Well- as I recall it just so happened that Abu had the game of his life running in the snow the weekend after we found out Eli & Cartevious were leaving. Everyone seemingly jumped to that conclusion.I don't know if I believe this but people on here said he left because he couldn't beat out Abu.
Cartevious is heading to USF to play for coach Golesh.Well- as I recall it just so happened that Abu had the game of his life running in the snow the weekend after we found out Eli & Cartevious were leaving. Everyone seemingly jumped to that conclusion.
He was supposed to visit. Not sure if he did or not. Auburn is getting a great player.saw that Raion Strader committed to Auburn. Wasnt he offered or scheduled a visit at one point?
Reminds me of your friend - DaveBy the gods, I hope not. Health comes first. Imho.
I always liked him - tough runnerCartevious is heading to USF to play for coach Golesh.

I completely agree with the message, but if the kids Colorado is picking up at all are as good as rankings suggest - TBD, as always - they'll be just fine. Maybe even a better overall team, but slightly less star reliant.I get where you're coming from.
My take is that while yes ASU went from last to first, it would be easy enough for any of these schools to take a big step back. Colorado for example... what are they going to be like without shadur and hunter? What coaches (Dillingham?) get an opportunity for an NFL job?
What Iowa State has is continuity. It's what Campbell and Pollard have identified as one way to sustainably improve. Keep your coaches, retain players. Build a reputation for being boringly successful.
It's sometimes annoying as a fan that were not taking big risks and shooting for the stars... but I'd argue this is the best we've ever been as an athletic department. You don't change the formula that got us here.

Dillingham... IDK if he'll leave. He literally grew up there. And went back when it was on probation. I don't know him, but I don't see him leaving anytime soon.

I am happy with d line additions though.
Getting guys to the NFL helps you win games at ISU. Most D1 starters think they are future NFL players.Disagree. The staffs job is to win games at ISU, if they get to the NFL that's just icing on the cake.
according to tweeter, his visit is todayHas anyone heard anything about Lance Holtzclaw visiting? I know he has drawn alot interest but heard we were going to push hard for him. Would be a solid addition to the team.
