That's what I meant. He was at Miami last year. Maybe I didn't read the quotes right.

So, 3rd year now huh. Good for him.
Oh you're good. Yep, he went and got that bag and played in a Final Four. He's having a decent year but Miami is bad this year and has lost 7/8 games.

What about the Ames doc and the Jim Carey look a like. They act like that.
Sound like good fans to me. I would want those kind of fans in my corner, especially in a rivalry. I may have my colored glasses on here, but I'd say what Tang did last year, and his coaches, warranted the fan reaction behind the K-State bench.

Big time basketball is not tidily winks. You can't run home to mommy, or complain when someone takes your marbles.

Absolutely not acceptable but I feel like that's been happening forever. Even before people were getting paid

Which still isn't OK imo.

It's just really weird.

A fan didn't get their way and 'their' team lost, so they threaten or wish bad things directly?

The image of Weber standing too far out on the court with that goofy grin is hard for me to erase but Bob Huggins was my favorite KSU coach. He had that truck driver/Bobby Knight killer look as his thug players mauled the opposing teams and the refs looked the other way. It was amazing how he owned the refs and still intimidated them on the road. And he did it just by staring at the refs, he didn’t go the McCaffrey route by being wildly animated on the sideline. He evidently had ways of threatening them pregame.

Remind me why he was only there one year?

Oh I agree. I just think this has been happening since the Internet and isn't some new phenomena because of NIL

Embarrassing
Maybe, but its a long ways away from shouting vile and hateful things. Not even in the same zip code.

Taunting is best when it's fun. The whole student section flopping for Marcus Smart, for example. That's a lot different than "f*** KU" or "no means no", which is still a big step above vile and hateful.
