Are we after any LT's or C's in the portal?? Those two spots in the line are really my only concerns for 2025, following the signing of Townsend and Sowell
I could see LT probably, but not an iol if Deylin Hasert is fully.

Apropos to nothing (maybe), Will Tompkins will be an early enrollee.

For those of you not watching, his offer list is probably the best ever by a Cyclone OL recruit—though I can’t speak for Karl Nelson. Even puts Campos’ list to shame.

And it was only growing when he committed.

Maybe. Or they could start off slow again like they did this season. Importing an army of portal mercenaries doesn't guarantee success. You still need to teach your system to a bunch of new faces and get them to play as a unit. I like Campbell's formula: development and retention while seeking undervalued transfer talent. The pragmatic approach for Iowa State.
Joey has always been seen as a great recruiter, but I haven't seen be more than mediocre at coaching and organizing a team to succeed.

I believe Texas Tech was the first school to release its revenue sharing program for its athletes next year (which was genius on their part I suppose) and includes around 75% of their revenue money going to football or about $175k to each scholarship football player. They have 15-18 guys transferring out that were essentially given the boot.

They already have around 15-18 incoming transfers. It worked for Arizona State this year. Tech could be the favorite to win the conference entering the season.
