For some perspective, this is not a Gregg Marshall / Fred VanVleet Wichita State. They were #124 in NET. They are the #128 offense on kenpom and the Tangs gave up 55 points to them in the second half.

They play zero non-conference road games this year. Their conference season starting early isn’t exactly the same. They’ve barely left the state in the non-conference with playing Utah St in KC and Washington st in Moline.
Idk if they can afford to fire him this year. He is a super lame duck.

It will start catching up to them. This is the same Iowa team we've seen for the last 15 years. Bunch of unathletic dorky looking dudes who score a ton of points, give up a ton of points, fade down the stretch and be a bubble team. Rinse and repeat.
T J & Co have obviously shared our high tech (floor sweeper) cheating techniques far and wide.
Believe it or not, they extended Tang's contract last spring. If my math is correct, I believe it would cost KState approximately $26 million to make him go away.
This is the point where the administration starts looking for any excuse to fire their coach with cause so Tang needs to be extra careful.
Marquette looked to get away with one at Xavier; I don't think the guy tried the trip, but his leg certainly interfered.

Yep. We broke Tang last year and it's looking like we may have broken him permanently.
That was likely just a symptom of things to come.
I wonder if practice has a lot of awkward moments and players looking at each other wondering what he just said.
