Honestly, that’s a great idea.

A bowl game should include something like this for the loser and then make it a contractual obligation to display it prominently with the school’s “real” trophies for a year.

The B1G West really bottomed out in the last 4-5 years of its time and it didn't have that far to go. I'd guess that's a factor.

that and they (for the most part) avoided the ranked teams from the East. Truly a blessed schedule.
