I’d recommend people listen to what he said, because it’s worse than Kellis is letting on. He basically said people kept suggesting he start Dug, and he was getting pissed because Dug didn’t deserve it, but then God told him to give Dug a chance.

Somewhat typical of a Bill Self team IMO. For their long run of Big 12 titles, about every other year looked like the year that they would go down. Though in the NIL era, I really think that cohesiveness is a wild card while changing out players (rather than bringing them up through the system).
