Teams who won ccgs should be first in line to get byes if there are byes. Anything else is total insanity. Teams who lost ccgs should be next in line.

12 data point teams who dodge it should never get a bye, if they do, all CCGs need to immediately be abolished.

Agree. P-4 teams should have the bye they play a much harder schedule and should be rewarded. G5 conference winner gets home playoff game first round.

You just made an argument for Penn State to not be in the playoffs.

Their best win was a decent Illinois team.

They crushed SMU. I know that wasn't regular season, but it happened.

Yeah, no thanks. I'll stick with my original assessment - that they look like a team that has been given unwarranted acclaim for losing to Oregon week 1 of the season and doing nothing else the rest of the year, just like we've been saying for the last month plus... AND THEY DO NOT BELONG IN THIS GAME.

Boise never deserved to be ranked ahead of a Big 12 team but they absolutely can play with a severely overhyped Penn State team/program that hasn’t accomplished anything.

Boise's best win was a loss to Oregon in week 2.

Oregon wasn't incredible to start the season. They only beat Idaho by 10 in week 1. Yet we put so much weight on that one game that Boise still lost.

The same logic that would keep Boise st from a bye will make big 12 champ always have a road game and play an extra game vs ccg dodgers.

Top 4 conf champs is fine and most years the big 12 will be safe.

Sure. If BSU wins this game then it proves that they belonged I believe. Not a chance, but an actual win. Losses are not wins.
