This is why people ******** about Indiana and SMU getting blown out was so incredibly stupid. Blowouts happen. Right now Oregon looks far worse than either of them. Does that mean they didn't deserve to be im the playoff?
It’s almost like nobody really knows what’s going to happen until the game is played, which is kind of the point?

Exactly the NCAA needs to grow a pair and we need NCAA officials not BIG, Big XIi or ACC officials. The P2 winning all these quarterfinals benefits their argument on guaranteed slots. I didn’t think it was a poorly officiated game but that review was pathetic.

The logic the SEC is coming at this with…the big 12 would have had 9-10 teams out of ten in the ncaa tournament per year for a decade.

It’s ok 3-4 of our teams stayed home even though they were in the top 68. It’s ok bsu/asu got in and a bye, your sec team got a bye too! Its ok SMU got in and BYU would have been just as deserving as Alabama if not more.

Hot take… there are a lot of really sh!tty seats in the Rose Bowl. Quite literally the most overhyped place to play.
And as CW points out all the time... the Rose Bowl is responsible for ruining college football in a lot of ways.

But the playoff becomes meaningless if you just put in the “big boys” of the B1G and SEC year after year. If they want a P2 playoff, they should just have a P2 playoff; schedule their entire seasons between themselves and some FCS teams, and just break away already.

I know that means the financial end of the ACC/Big 12/etc, but if we’re basically already just their well-paid butlers or whatever, I hardly see the point.

If I keep responding we’ll end up in “the cave”.

The appetite for a rich-get-richer because of unearned systemic advantages and biases form of college football more than makes sense…it seems inevitable.

Behind you
You're giving Michigan the benefit of hindsight. In any case, Indiana's 5-point win over Michigan is their ONLY win against a team that finished the regular season with a winning record.
Of course I am. Why wouldn't I? Michigan beat tOSU and Alabama. What ISU win would you say is better?
