If true why wouldn't Matt talk to them? No harm in it, get to talk with NFL GMs and network, shoot the ****. From the article it would be a zoom call so it's not a big interruption to his life.

True.

Interesting as he just re-signed so no "leveraging" the interview for more here...but also Chicago could probably pay whatever to buy him out.

Well Campbell will be one of about 20 to get interviewed supposedly. Their interview list is absurdly long.

Well, Mr Warren, I'm not concerned with wins and losses. My job here is to mold these young professionals into the best possible version of themselves.

Wait. You don't care about wins and losses?!?

No. Just trust the process. LOVE the process and someday....someday it will love you back!!

OK. One more time. You don't care about wins and losses?

No

You'll be the perfect head coach for the Chicago Bears! You're HIRED!!!!

The Iowa State to the Chitty road is well traveled.

Matt, this place sucks. The city sucks. The state sucks. The media sucks. The Bears suck.

Don't do it
If Chicago doubles his salary compared to Iowa State, after tax withholding there should be enough leftover to take his family out for a nice dinner. And that would be about it

As both an ISU & Bears fan, hell no. This would be a disaster. The Bears organization is a **** show & he would have such a low chance at success because of that.

And part of the reason the Bears organization is a **** show is they do interviews like this.

I am team "talk to as many people as you can." Pete Carroll? Yeah talking to him makes sense. What in the hell are you as an organization going to get from a guy who most likely hasn't watched the Bears play (and as a fan of both teams he absolutely should not have)?

Can you imagine the uproar of Bears fans if they choose to hire Campbell? I just don’t see it happening

I think there are two jobs that he’s leave for. One is Ohio Stste and the other Notre Dame. I don’t see either coming open anytime soon and by the time they do there will be other splashy names to consider.

The Bears GM can’t afford a miss here. He’s not going to hire a college coach.
David Kaplan was on KXNO today and said he heard people will be shocked with who the Bears hire. Ken Miller then discussed the Bears going after Mike Tomlin and how that would make a ton of sense. I am leaning more towards that than the Bears hiring Campbell.
