I knew the preseason hype was over-the-top, but expecting better than 10-10 two-thirds of the way thru regular season didn't seem unreasonable. At the time.

Doesn’t KU always do well in the early non conference? Seems like they always have a few big wins that sort of “back up” their preseason ranking, then they tank…

Pretty sure it's the opposite or at least a slow start to the conference slate before getting going in February.

If it wasn't for Flagg Duke wouldn't be anything special - would probably still win the ACC easy because the rest of the league is ass, but Duke is close to a 1-man team, and Duke-boy Bilas has made similar comments (not about the 1-man team thing, but that Flagg is what makes them as good as they are).

I totally disagree. Duke has 3 other potential first round picks on its roster. Flagg is good but Duke will be good even without him. Are we nothing special without Jefferson?
