Big ten is overrated this year for sure. I’m not saying Maryland is bad by any means, just nothing to be scared about. Teams should be worried about playing us, especially when we get Milan back.

Agree on the second part, teams should want no part of your defense. Said it all year but ISU and Auburn are the two teams I don’t want to see in the dance
Agreed 100%. That end of game play for Indiana was disastrous. Need 2 points to win and you chuck up a prayer from the corner. Woodson should be fired. He is not a good coach. Hilarious to see how bad Indiana has been for so long.
TJ had a quote in a recent presser where he said something like, “Coming out of timeouts, we are confident our best defense will beat your best offense.”
I’ve also noticed a lot of teams this year with just really bad execution on offense in such situations.
Timeout definitely favors the defense.
Maybe Indiana had their best defensive and rebounding lineup in there at the end and needed to change personnel once they lost the lead.
Personally win KC and hope for the best in the Tourney is what I'm hoping for if we get a regular conf title great.
Always been my preference to just get the ball and go. Feels like out of timeouts let's the defense setup and usually results in just farting around until 7 seconds left and chucking something up
Ya. I am not sure ISU has to worry about the committee getting cute and slotting them as an 8, 9, 10, or 11 across from ISU.
yep, you already have the ball and you are attacking the defense and typically by the end of the game you are in bonus or double bonus. typically what happens is time out is called. then the defense puts in 5 really good defenders and rim protectors.
now, are there times when to do it? absolutely. but it just seems like if you have your best offense out there down 1 with 10 seconds, just let them go.

People remember tourney champs more than regular season IMO.
As long as we get a good seed and a good placing in the tourney I'm good with it.

I strongly disagree with the tournament champ over regular season champ thing. One is performance over a whole year, Theo the other is who got hot over the period of a couple days.
Maryland is…fine? They don’t scare me I guess.
Who have they beaten? Illinois without a key starter? Ok. Their other wins are at a bad Indiana team by 1. A bad Minnesota team by 6. A bad Nebraska team by 3. A bad Ohio state team. An ok ucla team. Nothing great.
They’ve also lost to a bad northwestern team and bad Washington team.
Meh everyone has their own opinion, this is a golden age of Cyclone BB if we end up in the final 4 or get a Natty, nobody on this board should b*tch about the regular season or the B12 tourney but someone will I guarantee it.
