I was told all week, this would be the angriest Hilton has been this year. Either ESPN’s production staff mutes the entire crowd or they’re playing in the city morgue. Team is lackadaisical, fans follow suit. Turnovers have been an issue since the Texas Tech game but clearly haven’t been cleaned up.

This team isn’t very good when Jefferson isn’t on the court. He’s a huge difference maker.

When March comes I’d be fine with Lipsey, Jones, Gilbert, Momcilovic and JJ playing every minute they can handle.

I assure you they are trying to win. As an Iowa State fan, we are somewhat spoiled by the normal intensity that our guys show on D. Watch other conferences and it will seem like they are playing in wet cement. We are sluggish today. After Monday night and then a longer than normal break, somewhat normal to be a little flat.
