Obviously getting Milan back will be huge, but not having another threat outside to open up driving lanes for guards been a huge miss. Heise brutal offensively and clearly Nojus not ready were probably the plans coming into season. This offense been just getting by mostly thanks to Curtis heroics but that was never sustainable.
Getting beat by 20 at home has nothing to do without Milan.

K state is playing better, but we hit the TJ wall, now it's time to see if they can get through it.

After a loss? Bro, we’ve lost 3 out of 4. We lost to the worst team in the conference at home. Get a grip. We aren’t good.

"We aren't good". No, not true at all....we were awful TODAY, but we ARE a good team overall. It remains to be seen how good, however. Tough stretch.

I keep saying this over and over and over in hopes it keeps being talked about.

Our offense is broken. We rely on Making hard contested shots and we don’t move the ball with ****. We make this shots in games we win and struggle when we don’t.
All we do is dribble around and we get into crazy trouble. Look how well teams move the ball against us when we lose.

We get only a few good looks per game . It’s embarrassing easy to understand this.
Why we dont have the ability to reverse or swing the ball is killing me.

Been a long time since I can remember an ass kicking like that at Hilton. As much as it pains me to say, have to give credit to KSU and Tang, he had a great game plan. Double teaming down late when we got the ball in the paint, swiping it away from our big men. They hit their free throws and it seemed always had an answer when we were making a run.
KSU has a lot of size and they killed us on the boards with 2nd chances, taking the crowd out of the game. Their long scoring runs killed us, time to regroup, because it doesn't get any easier at KU on Big Monday .

#11 is an amazing flopper. Since the Big 12 refs allow it, who can ISU designate as a flopper?

Not sure we know this. He couldn’t be any worse than some other guys getting minutes.
If there was ever a game today would have been the day. But guessing practice has exposed his youth else he would get some run.

So many things to say here.

I have wondered about Schmidt for a long time.

Gilbert is a ball-dominant guard and makes the ball stick. When he gets a turnover or three, it completely saps his energy and he becomes passive and frankly bad.

Tamin and Jones aren’t the kind of athletes -height-wise, or athletically - that can get much on their own.

Jefferson still doesn’t understand that he’s the key to unlocking this team - or perhaps the staff doesn’t.

Everybody else is an offensive zero.

We really need Milan back, and even then it’s a flawed roster that usually gets the most out of average athletic talent that overachieves.
We really struggle in the half court, that is a problem.

I will attempt positivity. Many teams have had midseason slumps, and broken through and went on tournament runs (I think, anecdotally, no hard data).
