The Big Ten is also in a much stronger position with their networks and has more teams that draw numbers.

The Networks are happy with any Ohio State, Michigan, Oregon, Penn State, USC game with a mid level (Washington, Nebraska, Michigan State, UCLA, Wisconsin, Iowa) and there are plenty of those to go around. The Big 12 doesn't have that luxury and it gets worse if Prime leaves.
MWC has two networks and less priority and released theirs on Dec 10th.

I’ve been wondering this as well. Planning on going to the game at Colorado. Unfortunately Iowa State has literally never won a game I’ve traveled to watch so chalk that one up as an L now

I'm curious too.

Home slate is pretty awesome next year with Iowa, ASU, and BYU.
Weird how quickly that changed. I remember looking at the 2025 home slate when it was released last year and thinking how disgustingly bad it was outside of Iowa.

ACC announces they are releasing their's on Monday. Looks like Big 12 will be last again of the major 4.

Looks like last season it happened on January 30th:

I'm hoping the 2025 B12 football schedules are released tomorrow on 1/30 as they were on 1/30 last year. Being a Thursday, the news would not be lost in weekend sports news.

Hey Dan, good running into you in Tempe at Yucca. Ran into you as well in Athens, OH.

Hope to see you again soon.

Couldn't find another thread for this, but here in Omaha the big news today is there will be no Husker Spring Game. I know ISU went away from a "spring game" several seasons ago. I know they still make the last practice open to the public, and it sounds like that is the Husker plan as well. However, they are saying it may be a non-contact practice. Reasons given are that they had two ACL injuries in last year's Spring Game. Also, they are trying to keep guys from going into the Portal right after the game. And also they don't want to let anyone else see their players perform well and then try to steal them away.

These all sound like valid reasons and it could be the traditional Spring Game is another casualty of NIL. Guess CMC was maybe ahead of his time on that one.

Don't be surprised if we see 3 bye weeks on the schedule.

Both teams who played in Ireland last year had 3 byes.

My guess:

First Four games

bye

3 conf games

bye

3 conf games

bye

2 conf games

*i know absolutely nothing and will be really, really wrong*

Georgia Tech had a Bye, played Miami, had another bye on their schedule last year

Tentatively planning to go to Boulder, but also have a couple weddings to dodge.
How many fiancees do you have? FWIW.... dodge them all and stay single!

I think you're correct. With the Week Zero game, there will be 15 weeks to play 12 games. Ergo, 3 byes.

It will be weird as hell when it's Sept 13 and the season is a 3rd of the way over.
