There will be bad plays here and there, but this board is hillarious. Always the players -- every game 15 lousy calls, but yeah its the players.
You see, it can work both ways. If the officials make two bad calls in a row that should give us 2 freethrows at one end and then the other team gets an open 3 twice at the other end that's a potential 10 point swing. That CAN be the difference in the game. Officials are JUSt as fallable as the players and deserve to be called out as much as the players. Why not?
Now, with that said, the officials have not blocked any of our shots, so we can't blame that on them. BUT, they sure as hell are letting KS foul with impunity down low on us and have provided at least 4 bailouts on the other end that MAY be fouls, but not with respect to what they are letting happen elsewhere.
OFFICIALS ARE A PART OF THE GAME! Otherwise, why have them out there? Are they perfect? Can they make mistakes? Why not rag on them as much as your players who are not doing well and making mistakes. Do your playters have to play to a certain level to get fair officiating? Lots of questions that you should go ahead and answer and then maybe you can go off on those that like to critique the officials instead of their players.
Do you think that officiating ALWAYS balances out somehow? It doesn't, unless they check themselves after the game is out of hand and then decide they are going to crack down, after the damage has been done.
