All you single stage betas ready to embarrass yourselves tomorrow?
Toro Snowmaster, a bit of a hybrid between 1-2 stage. Technically a 1 stage. In all but the worst snows it runs circles around my old (and neighbors) higher dollar 2 stage machines. One of those 95/100 times you're clearly money ahead with, but its not terrible in the other 5 either. The only time I missed the old monster was that big snow last year, but I didn't miss it that much.I have one of each. If it’s light and fluffy like they say, I’ll use my single stage every time. It’s so much easier to maneuver than my two stage.
Two stage is reserved for wet, heavy snow.
And its possible there may not be a single inch of snow.my buddy and i were just talking about how it was VERY rare for school to be cancelled the night before back in the days of my high school years (07-10) and that wasn't even that long ago.
Odds are you'll likely be fine. Only government agencies close early for maybe snow. They also have plows. So about my 11 AM flight to Florida from DSM tomorrow...
If there is one thing I miss about drinking it is day drinking.Looks like a day drinking day.
I love a good snow storm, but can’t argue with this.I don't know why, but I feel skeptical that this storm will bring a ton of snow. It just seems too cold.
We are so close to spring, that I am tempted to just let this one be. Haven't had to plow our 200 ft gravel driveway yet this year, which means my lawn is still rock free. Would really like to keep it that way.

Agree. This was never hyped as that big a storm in Iowa. Everything I've seen the last week predicted anywhere from 3-8 inches. That's pretty much a typical snow storm. This was never some 10-12" behemoth. It's only getting attention because central Iowa hasn't seen **** for snow this year.If this wasnt the biggest snowstorm of the year in at least parts of Iowa, this would be an afterthought.
Plus really fluffy snow. We aren't talking much actual moisture.Agree. This was never hyped as that big a storm in Iowa. Everything I've seen the last week predicted anywhere from 3-8 inches. Still a lot of day left. I still imagine we get 6 inchesI fear this storm might be a bust
Where do you negative Nancie’s keep hearing this from? They always predicted it would be snowing the most starting overnight…..I fear this storm might be a bust
