Alabama State just won their first ever tournament game. If they would have been in Round of 64, chances are that they would still be winless. If I am Alabama State, I would rather have the win.

All play in games should be a "St Frances vs Alabama St". Totally uninterested in a woefully under performing P5 team......
I do have to be into the UNC-SDSU game since they're in our group...otherwise 'meh.'
I think a lot of of people are totally interested in seeing UNC get bounced.
I try not to cheer or wishcast future matchups with NCAA games, since it can come back to bite you.
But I'd like to see UNC bounced solely for the selection committee nonsense. And they have enough talent that I'm not sure I'd want to play them after rattling off a couple wins.
And the media loves to use that success as justification after the fact, when its just as possible that the more deserving team left out could also have gone on a run
Yeah, it seems like we've already had a couple of these instances, where a talented team/program like UNC, MSU, etc...barely get in then make a run, then the talking heads cream their pants with "See! That's why we can't leave bluebloods out!"
If Magoon Gwath isn't the coolest name to ever take part in an NCAA tournament game I don't know what is.

Honestly, its more of an argument they should have been left out. They had all that talent to make them capable of going on a run, yet did absolutely nothing with it all season? Not exactly something you want to reward.
He's got a knee brace from a 2003 college offensive lineman.
I always though the name Fran McCaffrey would go well in a sweet 16 game, but alas….
