I found this interesting: "Top incoming recruit: Texas Tech has not signed a freshman who could make an immediate contribution next season; instead, the Red Raiders will rely on the portal."

Bidunga is a pretty fun name to say. If you do the accents correctly it kind of sounds like this:

He got even fatter and then couldn't stay healthy. Turns out he's not as good when there aren't a bunch of shooters around him.

He's got another year at SLU, we'll see if it gets any better.
Am I crazy or did he show up in in the second round of some mock drafts late last season?

Drake hiring him doesn't change anything, IMO, but yes, that was a big reason I thought we had an inside track to getting Cluff

I am surprised he took the Drake job - I would have thought SDSU -> Drake was a lateral move
One thing that really stood out to me is summit league is basically not televised. If you think the media markets for the MVC are small, the summit league is basically non-existent.

The summit league broadcasts games on their own network and I'd imagine it's online streaming or locally available, kinda like cyclonestv used to be. All I know is I can't watch them.

Drake being on ESPN+ and also some network channels is a big upgrade for visibility.

The Summit League and Midco expanded their partnership with an enhanced media rights agreement that will provide fans with a direct-to-consumer branded digital network. The Summit League Network (SLN) will be powered by Midco Sports Plus and be a one-stop shop for all Summit League digital content, serving as the exclusive streaming home for live and on-demand coverage of member institutions.

For $9.99 a month or $79.99 for 12 months, fans can expect more than 600 live Summit League events to be streamed through SLN on the Midco Sports Plus app each year.

Yuck. My guess was correct.
