NO way you bring them with you. You were better kicking off them then the last guy. I know at home we root for people we dislike to leave. However, if I am on that show. I am bringing the biggest jerks with me to the finals.
Agree that the ideal scenario to win is neither of them, but I mean to say my preferred options would be:
1. neither Joe or Eva
2. both Joe and Eva to try and split some of their votes and maybe win it 5-2-2 or 4-3-2
3. just one of them - whichever it is runs away with the vote

Another thought: ethically speaking, could Joe, as a fireman, bring himself to actually make a fire at final four? Or is he honor-bound to only put out fires? :jimlad:

I understand the strategy of brining weaker players with you to the finals.... BUT... have all the 3 finalists really strong players makes for better TV.
This what I want to see happen as it would be an extremely tough vote if there was not a clear cut weak player as the 3rd one that always seems to get drug along to the end.

Will have to see how things play out to finish the season right now but Star is really the only one left with nothing of note on her resume to win yet. After her then maybe I would say Kamilla and Mary are next as they too have just been lying in the weeds with no challenges won and just voting what other have told them too. Only Joe Eva Kyle, Shauhin, and Mitch have the resumes so far of winning challenges or orchestrating strategy and votes up to this point. Still a lot of gameplay left that could affect the outcome and for once there really is not a person that I dislike this late in the game. I'm a little annoyed with Kyle at times because I wanted to see the strong 5 to the end but I respect the move he made getting David out. I liked David too and credit him for trying to call out Kyle and Shauhin's secret alliance with Kamilla. Had he been successful in convincing Joe and Eva of that it probably would have been 1 of those 2 going home or Kamila not him.

Will Joe be able to turn on Eva at some point? He will have to turn on her. Her story plays well at final if they are both sitting there. I always wonder at my age what I would do. As a younger person I would have been savage and voted her out eventually. I am 51 and have a daughter around her age. Would I have it in me to blindside a girl like her? A girl with Autism and someone close to me on the game. At the same time I would be going on to the game to win. Not to make a best friend. I would want to win the game and to do that I might have to savagely cut my best friend in the game. IN this case it would make it way harder to do that.
I actually feel like Joe will be ok coming in second to her. Which I respect. He seems like a very stand up dude, which doesn't help him in this game.

As a fan of the show, I am down with him coming in second. As a guy who is playing, I would have to shoot for the win. I guess it's easier to sit at home and say yay Joe. However, nobody is going on the show to meet friends and give someone else the victory. It's such a weird strange game. I probably would actually do what Joe is going to do.

I dunno. If it was between Joe and Eva for my vote right now it’s Joe and not really close. I absolutely love Eva but Joe as of now is playing the better overall game.

I don't know about that. While Eva has been trusting Joe's opinion/discretion she was in with David and Mary on going after Kamilla and sniffing out the betrayal of Kyle. In the end she trusted Joe's gut. But I think she has better instincts than she gives herself credit for. Eva has been strong in challenges and has been on the right side of the votes showing she has the correct information. People seem to like her indicating she is playing a good social game. From my perspective her weak point is trusting Joe when she should trust herself. Fortunately she has reason why that is how she defaults when in question.

For me it's a hard toss up between the two which is common when two people work hand in hand together. They need something to differentiate themselves. This may just happen at final tribal. Maybe it's the fire making challenge that separates them.

Either way I'm excited to see how it all plays out. Which is more than I can say for most of the new era. I'm usually hoping certain people don't make it to the end and currently I don't dislike anyone left. I definitely have favorites but there is nobody I just can't stand.

I'm done with Kamilla. She brings nothing to the game and Kyle is helping her stay alive, otherwise she would already be out.

I thought eliminating Star last night was huge for Joe and Eva. It helps eliminate the possibility of "chaos". Mary doesn't have a shot in the dark. Eva is still holding the idol, so the risk of another advantage showing up is low. Until Eva is forced to play her idol, the shot in the dark is really the only thing that could screw stuff up.

It really seems like Kamilla and Mitch will ride the wave to 6 now. Kyle seems unwilling to move on Joe until then, which means Kamilla, Mary, and Mitch don't have the numbers.

Be interesting to see if Eva's safety without power makes any difference next week.

Or if she uses it at all. It has to be played next week or she loses it. If Mitch, Mary or Kamilla wins immunity, she will likely skip Safety without power, to make sure she has a vote to keep the Big 4 intact

I love this season. That immunity challenge was ******* insane. Seven left...none of which I hate or don't like which is extremely rare. None of which I hate but a couple that I don't think deserve to win at this point (Kamilla/Mary). Everyone else (Mitch needs to step up and win a couple challenges or make a huge move) is probably 5th for me despite how much I like him.

Current look at who I want to win or deserves to win:

Want:
1-Joe
2-Eva
3-Kyle

Deserves:
1-Joe
2-Kyle
3-Eva

Star's rapping or singing wow.

Agree Mary was smarter choice to take out. She is much more likely to win a challenge than Star.

I think the only way Eva's safety without power gets played is if Mary wins immunity and Joe/Eva get a hint that Kyle/Shauhin/Kamilla are coming for them.

I really don't think Kyle will turn on Joe prior to 6

I think this is Kyle and Kamilla's game to loose at this point. I really want Joe and Eva in the final 3 but it is looking like Kyle and Kamilla are going there. They are playing the long game better. K & K have Shauhin working closer with them than Joe. Eva and Joe are hitched to each other. Kyle has Mitch bought into staying with him even when the better move for Mitch would have been to vote out one of the "strong alliance. Mary is playing a Sandra game at this point but seems content to go wherever the majority is. When it gets to 6 K & K will take out J & E using Kyle's better relationships with Mitch and Shauhin. Joe and Eva are not seeing the long game and setting up the others to work with them at the end. They are getting to 6 and seeing how it all shakes out. Joe and Eva are setting up as the targets in the final 6 (to big of challenge threats, to good of stories). I just hope they have enough immunities and advantages to get through the onslaught that is coming.

I like chaos, so I thought last night's episode was kind of ho-hum.

I guess it's because the strength alliance has held and the other players are just too dumb (or too timid - Mitch) to put up a fight.

That said, I think Joe wins and I'm cool with that.
Kinda crazy for Mitch to have a confessional saying “I know I need to do something!” and then watch him sit on his hands and be content with getting dragged to 6th place. I don’t get that at all.

If Kamilla had framed the plan to force rocks as “I have someone inside their alliance who will absolutely flip for us” that might have helped the sell vs “well someone will flip.”

That said they should’ve targeted Eva with the plan to force rocks, or maybe even just go 5-3 with Kyle flipping outright. She (deservedly) feels really comfortable up there and the strong alliance would never see it coming. Alas.

I didn't think Mary was the smart one to take out. I think Star is the more eratic of the players and when you have a wild card you take it out. To be honest though I don't think it matters since they can just take Mary out in the next round.

Yeah Mitch was by far the most disappointing player in the last episode. If they want to break up the 4 person alliance they have to make a move sooner than later.

Of course Joe winning immunity threw a wrench into it all. It seems like Mitch is at this point content to come in 6th place. I’m afraid this season might turn into one of the more boring seasons if people are too scared to actually make a move on the top players.

I’ve actually have come around and I like Kyle a lot. I’m hoping next week someone from the bottom can win immunity and Kyle flips with Kamilla and they can overthrow the top 4.

So, Eva is at the point where she needs to play the Safe with out Power advantage or it goes away. Would be interesting if she gives it to either Mary or Mitch, possibly forcing a vote by the Alliance onto Kamilla?

Mary will vote with the Big 4, to stay in the game... it's her only chance (other than immunity). If Eva gives Safe without Power to Mitch, that makes Kamilla very vulnerable. That would make for a great last minute gutsy Tribal council.
