I'm surprised that Toppling Goliath hasn't been as aggressive with opening satellite locations as Big Grove has been. They are both huge in the craft beer world.
Expansion is tricky. You will see less and less of it going forward.

Toppling is still planning on expanding in the Drake neighborhood. Toppling's main focus is out of state distro and they have done a very good job of that. I believe they are in 13 states now.

TG has expanded distribution across much of the country. Not sure taprooms are their focus.

Confluence won the U.S. Open Brewery of the Year for the 5,001 - 15,000 Barrels Category (The second largest category)

They won 2 golds (13 Degrees & Old Chungus) and 3 bronzes (Des Moines IPA, Milk Man Stout, & Blue Corn Lager Con Chiles)

Other Iowa breweries on the list include:

Full Fledged (1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze)
