About a month ago my renewal was coming up and went to cancel it and they offered me a new yearly deal for $19.99 so I took it.
Peacock is worth it in my opinion. If anyone is a fan of Premier League you get 90% of the games for such a fraction of the cost in comparison to what the folks in the UK have to spend.

They are all alike. When you make deals to get a lot of viewers, you have to keep them. Share holders don’t like numbers to get smaller.

One Boomer yells at the other Boomer why the numbers in the spreadsheet aren't larger.

The reason it does not excite me is simple...yet another streaming service for me to pay for...ugh! Or...maybe I won't? Sucks either way...

Feels like we’re going to end up with a smattering of games on all services as an attempt to get fans to subscribe to all of them. The days of a single service carrying all your games are done. Apple will pick up a premiere game every season, then Amazon will get a game, and Fox, and ESPN, and TNT.

Someone should put out a report every year for the cost of fans to watch their team’s games. See which fanbases have to pay the most and least.

I actually like having stuff on HBO Max but this one kind of sucks because other than sports Peacock might as well be called the MacGruber Limited Series Network for me.

My team is Italian and usually makes European competition so Paramount plus is an insane deal to get all of Serie A plus all European competitions. I do laugh at how expensive it has always been for decades now to watch a game legally in Rome compared to some $1/month deal i get on black friday for Paramount plus.

To anyone else who has Comcast, they have a bundle deal for their internet customers that includes Peacock, Apple TV+ and Netflix for $15 a month.

My wife has been asking for a Big 12 in Peacock for years

I kept telling her it would never happen as long as she was married to me
Sh*t, I hear ya. More like a big 4 conference in your house. Amirite?

NBC/Peacock is getting the NBA for next season so for those that like the NBA that might make the subscription a little more worth your while. That besides the dynamic B1G football and basketball action! :p

Peacock is $8/month. Buy 1 less cocktail per month and you’re golden.

Not trying to tell people how to spend their money but the good thing is you can turn subscriptions on and off very easily. When the schedule comes out you might be able to just pay the months we have a game on there.

Your "Spend less on booze while watching Cyclone athletics" model falls apart pretty quickly once you start thinking about it.

My best guess is Peacock is trying to get their foot in the door with Yormark and them, paramount and espn are going to get in a bidding war for big 12s t3 rights in 6 years

I'm already down eleventy hundred cocktails from all the other subscription ********. Companies sure have found every way possible to nickel and dime people to death. It all adds up.

I’m probably going to just give up watching every Iowa State game. Another platform to pay for now. I have no doubt they will be better, but would rather not be spread over multiple streaming platforms. We used to ***** about cable being over $100 but we are easily there now with streaming. YouTube tv $80, ESPN+ $12, Peacock $8, Paramount+ $8. If you like watching NFL Amazon prime for whatever that cost is now.
