I generally agree.Going to the big ten was not a good move for them (outside of current money). I think it would have been easier to rebuild in the b12 due to history and location. If they stayed, I think the b12 wouldn’t have blown up as much.
That being said, Nebraska has always had a hard time realizing who they are and (more importantly) where they are.
They had Bo Pelini, a hard-nosed, physical, run-first coach... in Mike Leach's Big 12.
They had Mike Riley and Scott Frost, two pass-first, Pac12 guys while they were in the Big Ten.
They literally had the opposite coaches of what they should have in both cases. They had a square peg when it was a round hole, and then a round peg when it was a square hole. That being said, I think they finally have a run-first, physical coach in the B1G.
