Even more impressive then. Bayou Barbie baby!

She had 11 rebounds yesterday, none offensive and shot 60% from field in a win. These people intent that she isn’t even fit for the league are actually insulting all of women’s basketball and thus their idol Clark.

Not a great look for AR.

?? So if your hurt don't rehab just go with the team and set on the bench correct? My question for CC is why is she not in shape or did she get hurt from rough play. She is the face of the team but this season has been a no show. Is it due to being roughed up or not in playing condition.

It is possible to both rehab and be there to support your team and teammates by being on the bench with them while you're out. Apparently she's day-to-day, so it's not some season ending injury. I think this is the second straight game she's not been there. I just think it's a selfish and self-centered move for her to not be there with her team at games.

CC is in fine shape I'm sure. Well-conditioned pro athletes suffer quad strains and groin injuries all the time. Lol. She's been on the bench for every game she's missed, I'm pretty sure. She was there last night, in an Aliyah Boston tshirt.

Most injured "star" players travel with the team. Because, you know, "team". Watching MLB this summer and Aaron Judge was on the IL for 15 days the last few weeks and with the team each game. Gerrit Cole is out for the season after Tommy John surgery and won't pitch till next year and I see him in the dugout all of the time.

And this WNBA roadie was hardly cross country, Chicago to Indy isn't exactly crossing multiple time zones and staying in hotels for a week. Plus you have the hyped up personal and team rivalry expectations and both are injured, you'd think the Sky and TV fans would like to have seen her there.

I assume you are just trolling and don't actually really think Clark is not in shape. I think I read that she went all the way through HS and college without missing a single game, some of that is just good fortune but you can't be in bad shape and play the minutes she has over the last 10 years.

This is the issue. By not being there to support them she's putting herself above the team and her teammates. Just very selfish and self-centered move to not be there with them and for them.

A back injury is different than just about any other injury. It may not be comfortable to move around much or even sit on a plane/bus. Now if you have pictures of her out at a club dancing the night away, I'll eat my words.

IMO this is a media created issue because they couldn't promote AR & CC's "bitter rivalry" and show them more than game action.

She was at the Sky game v. the Mystics in Chicago on Tuesday. She then skipped the Sky v. Dream in Chicago on Thursday, and the Fever game in Indy on Saturday. The travel from Chicago to Indianapolis isn't exactly long and arduous, and I'd think if that were the issue her coach would've said that.

This rivalry is just media hype to increase viewership for the wnba. What a joke.

It troubles me that skin color seems to be such an important factor...the underlying insinuation that nobody would pay any attention until a white girl came in.

People can deny it all they want, but it doesn't pass the racist sniff test.
